In law school RuthAnne served as President of the Moot Court Honor Society, was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society, and interned for the California Attorney General’s Office and San Diego County Public Defender’s Office. She was honored to receive the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence for her paper Eradicating Female Infanticide in India by Enforcement of Woman's Property Rights.
Born in LaJolla, California, RuthAnne was raised in Bend, Oregon, and moved to Alaska in 2013.
