Chris Brecht joined BGO in 2007 after completing a clerkship with the Honorable Morgan Christen, then Presiding Judge of the Third Judicial District for Alaska, and is a BGO shareholder. 


Chris grew up in Alaska and has lived in Juneau, Anchorage, and Fairbanks.


Prior to his legal career, Chris taught elementary and high school in the United States and Japan.


Born in Washington, D.C., Chris moved to Alaska in 1973.
